 Stephen S. Poloz governor of the Bank of Canada anounced today a rate cut of 25 basis points bringing the overnight rate to .75.% This is the 1st rate change in four years. I have fond memories of going to my grandparents home on Concord Ave in Toronto from our home in Highland Creek there were always those landmarks. I knew as soon as we hit Hones Ed's I knew their home was just a few minutes away. My grandmother would go to Honest Ed's for  a bargin or two every week.
